The journey for the Charles E. Mills Secondary School (CEMS) ended on the opening night of SCASPA’s 5th annual Best in Class High School Quiz Competition on May 5. The school scored 10 points at the end the night, eliminating them from moving on to the next round of competition.
The winning school of the night was Basseterre High School (BHS), with 105 points. BHS was followed by the Immaculate Conception Catholic Secondary (ICCS) with 43 points; Cayon High (CHS) and Verchilds High (VHS) tied with 30 points followed by the Washington Archibald High School (WAHS) with 25 points. The student of the night was Tarique Allen who scored the highest points, 60.
The 5th Anniversary celebration of SCASPA’s Best in Class High School Quiz Competition continues May 7, 2015 at the Sir Cecil Jacobs Auditorium of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank at 7 p.m.
Best in Class High School Quiz is a general knowledge competition organized and sponsored by SCASPA to generate a greater understanding of and appreciation for SCASPA’s role in national development and promote educational activities among the youths of St. Kitts.
