Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be expected to guide, develop and manage the overall provision of human resources services, policies and programmes for the Authority.

Desired Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

· At least a First Degree in Human Resources Management or related field

· A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in a Human Resources Management position

· Strong operational background with exceptional planning and execution skills

· Knowledge of Industrial Relations practice

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

· Experience in managing the payroll function

· Proficiency in Microsoft Suite


Key Responsibilities Will Include:

· Developing an appropriate framework of Human Resource Policies and procedures

· Providing timely and appropriate advice and information on HR related issues

· Overseeing the implementation of efficient recruitment procedures

· Ensuring the continuous professional and personal development of staff in line with the competence and skills needs of SCASPA

· Guiding the performance management process and linking performance improvement to career development

· Assisting with the development of employee engagement initiatives

· Managing the payroll and compensation function
