The magical, 2,700-passenger Disney Magic made its inaugural visit to St. Kitts on September 26, 2014. The family-centered ship was tailored with modern luxuries, technology and comforts that make cruising a pleasure.
The modern classic ship’s arrival was marked by a plaque exchange ceremony aboard the ship. The exchange of plaques was completed by key stakeholders in the Tourism Authority – Mr. Donald Cable, Manager, Port Services at Delisle Walwyn & Co., Mrs. Melnecia Marshall, Product Standards and Cruise Manager, St. Kitts Tourism Authority, Mr. Jonathan Bass, Chief Executive Officer, St. Christopher Air and Sea Ports Authority (SCASPA) along with ship captain and Captain Mickey Mouse, affectionately called, Captain Mickey.
After the exchange of plaques, guests that included officials from the Ministry of Tourism, SCASPA, and local agents and tour companies were shown the staterooms, dining area options, youth clubs, entertainment options, pools, and stores aboard the ship. Visitors were not only dazzled by the classical design of the ship and detail definitions of the ships decorations but by the universally pleasant crew.
