Women of SCASPA shine among powerful women in St. Kitts-Nevis at Ross University’s IWD Motivational Breakfast Ceremony!

Basseterre, St. Kitts – IN celebration of the 2018 International Women’s Day (IWD), the St. Christopher Air & Sea Ports Authority (SCASPA) was proudly represented by eight (8) hard-working women from the Authority at The Ross University’s 2018 International Women’s Day Motivational Breakfast Ceremony held at the Royal St. Kitts Hotel, today Wednesday 08th March 2018.

The 2018 IWD theme: “Press for Progress” aimed at recognizing the progress attributed to local businesses through hard work and dedication of employees here in St. Kitts – Nevis whom majority is women.

Of the many local business institutions represented at today’s ceremony, our very own SCASPA staff was well-represented by, namely; Ms. Janelle Smithen (HR Dept), Ms. Linda Fyfield (Security Dept), SO Cauline Leader (Security Officer), Ms. Adonis Browne (HR Dept), Mrs. Surika Matthew – Carty (Finance Dept), Ms. Hasina Tota (Operations Dept), Mrs. Olivia Dias-Taylor (CEO Executive) and Mrs. Sandra Blackman-Riley (Operations Dept).

Also Present at this Women’s celebratory gathering were, Prime minister of St. Kitts & Nevis: The Hon. Timothy Harris, Deputy Prime Minister The Hon. Shawn Richards, Minister of state with the responsibility for Health The Hon. Wendy Phipps and other members of Government.

The conference featured an amazing keynote speaker with a special featured address, distribution of awards by the Hon. Wendy Phipps – Minister of state with the responsibility for Health and distribution of awards by the Host – Ross University: School of Veterinary Medicine.

The one-day IWD Motivational Breakfast ceremony was chaired by well-known, Director of Visitor Experience/ Museum Manager and former local female radio personality Mrs. Toni Frederick-Armstrong.

The St. Christopher Air & Sea Ports Authority (SCASPA) takes this opportunity to extend a warm and appreciative Happy International Women’s Day to the women employed at SCASPA who have made tremendous strides in advancing the Authority by your continuous hard work and commitment!
