Security Manager of SCASPA, Mr. Jervin Lapsley, briefly commented on yet another successful training course,

The 123 Aviation Basic Training is a course geared towards all security personnel and officers who generally works and operates at the airports. The course ended with a percentage grade pass mark of 95.9%. All participants were successful at their theoretical and practical examinations.  It was an impressive week with all officers meeting or surpassing the pass mark during their testing stage. I employ the new officers to exhibit the same enthusiasm that they did during their long training ordeal and to let their marks reflect in their deportment and execution of their services to our staff, stakeholders and customers.”

At the end of the training, all officers were given an official written and practical examination. The results from the examination indicated whether the security officers can function within the premises of the Sea port and Airport under SCASPA’s mandate. Successful participants received an official training certificate in a closing graduation ceremony held on Friday 4th August 2017.
