With the intent of ensuring continuous and positive Port Calls to St. Kitts, representatives from the St. Christopher Air & Sea Ports Authority attended the March 2016 Sea Trade Cruise Global Conference held at the Fort Lauderdale Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA.
Of the faction were Minister responsible for Public Infrastructure, Post Urban Development, and Transport – Mr. Ian “Patches” Liburd, SCASPA Chairperson – Mr. Don Boncamper, SCASPA’s CEO – Mr. Denzil “Don” James and SCASPA Chief Accountant – Ms. Tuffida Stewart. Also present were members from the St. Kitts Tourism Authority.
This year’s conference consisted of a highly regarded educational conference program and the much anticipated trade show that covers all sectors of the international cruise industry.
At the trade show SCASPA along with Tourism officials were allowed the opportunity to showcase St. Kitts and its Ports and services to the influential stakeholders that attend each year.
The ultimate goal of attending this premier exhibition is for companies like SCASPA to keep abreast of the ever-changing international cruise industry while allowing the opportunity to build/retain long-lasting business relationship with cruise industry officials.
