SCASPA’s delegates attends Sea Trade Global 2017

Bird Rock, Basseterre, St. Kitts (March 22nd 2017) —-Minister with responsibility for the St. Christopher Air and Sea Ports Authority (SCASPA) Hon. Ian “Patches” Liburd, SCASPA Chairman Mr. Don Boncamper and Chief Executive Officer of SCASPA Mr. Denzil James formed part of the St. Kitts contingent who attended Sea Trade Cruise Global 2017.  Sea Trade Cruise Global is one of the cruise industry’s most premier global event held annually in Florida.  Hosted at the Fort Lauderdale Broward County Convention Center in Florida, the event this year saw about 900 exhibiting companies participating which included, but not limited to, suppliers, qualified buyers, industry experts, and cruise line executives for a week of networking, sourcing, innovation, and education. Also at the event were decision makers and an exhibition of the latest cruise market trends and information.

The four day conference has been identified as a “must-attend” for SCASPA.  At this premier cruise industry event, SCASPA partnered with the Tourism Authority and other stakeholders to exhibit the destination and the services we offer to cruise lines and tourists.  SCASPA Officials also attended open and private sessions with key cruise executives to market the destination.

The Sea Trade Cruise Global 2017 conference line-up offered guests 360 degrees of groundbreaking content including: critical, forward-thinking educational sessions offering relevant information on the latest issues and trends; new suppliers that will aid in building and growing  supplier relationships; networking and a multi-floor exhibition that highlighted key sectors within the cruise industry.

Sea Trade Cruise 2018 will be held March 5-8.
